In short: how does EDI work?
An EDI ultra-pure water system deionises water by using electricity, resin and ion exchange membranes. This means that dissolved ions are continuously being separated from the water, which is made possible by an applied DC power supply. This way, by using ultrapure water technologies, no unwanted elements are left in the water. There is just little power needed to keep this pure water technology working optimally and to efficiently produce purified water.
